Collaboration and communication are key. You will partner with UX Designers, Interaction Designers, SEO, Paid Search, Business Development, Product Management, and other Engineers to get the best products into our customers’ hands.

As an engineer you will:
Champion efficient, intuitive, and reusable front-end systems.
Act as key contributor for a small team that will scale rapidly.
Collaborate with a cross-functional team of engineers, designers, and devops to implement features and ship product experiments.
Find and address mobile and desktop performance issues.
Identify and communicate front-end best practices.
Work with designers to implement custom templates deployed in both eCommerce platforms and home-grown solutions.
Participate in design and code reviews, Scrum estimations, daily standups, and sprint retrospectives.
What you need to bring to the table:
5+ years experience developing web applications
Expertise in front-end routing, client-side templating, and communicating via RESTful APIs
Using CSS Preprocessors like Sass and Less
Awareness of cross-browser compatibility issues and client-side performance considerations
Familiarity with common software design patterns
Passion for producing elegant, maintainable code
Know when the quick and dirty solution is appropriate and when it’s not
Ability to interface with business stakeholders and engineers

Demonstrated design and UX experience
Web build systems: Webpack
Magento templating framework
Testing and continuous integration: Mocha, Jasmine, Selenium, Jenkins
Experience with SQL and general relational database concepts
Proficiency in Node, PHP, Go, or other object-oriented languages
Amazon Web Services: EC2, S3, SNS, Lambdas, DynamoDB, ElastiCache, Redshift
Containers and orchestration: Docker / Swarm, CoreOS, Kubernetes
