DIGITAL ANALYTICS & OPTIMIZATION ANALYST

Description

 

The Digital Marketing & Optimization Analyst will manage analytics by tracking, measuring, analyzing and reporting insights into the company’s digital programs. Analyses data to create meaningful reports containing actionable insights on consumer behavior. Understands how to analyze, structure and interpret large volumes of raw data into effective visual stories for business owner. Plays a key role in providing marketing analytics for Corporate websites, mobile apps and other customer facing digital platforms. Coaches internal and external stakeholders on how best to use available data to optimize content, increase conversion and optimize the user experience by increasing traffic and engagement on digital platforms. Assists with building an analytics strategy for digital marketing goals and objectives.

 

Responsibilities Include

  • Measure site usability/effectiveness, along with monetization of media campaigns, and present actionable insights and recommendations based on data results and best practices
  • Build custom analytics dashboards and reports that can effectively present digital performance to the appropriate audiences aligned to KPIs
  • Segment traffic to understand and optimize user experience and conversion based on source, channel, visitor frequency, tenure, demographics, etc.
  • Manage tagging including overall strategy, implementation, and best practices across web and mobile applications
  • Coordinate the execution of A/B tests and analyze test results for presentation to stakeholders
  • Use analytics to inform projects and drive product decisions pre- and post-launch, coupled with a good understanding of best practices, good UX, and what works well that supports the digital marketing, mobile and social strategies.
  • Work with Product Management & UX team to supplement quantitative analysis with qualitative methodologies including surveys, user testing, and focus groups
  • Data analysis of various web projects and ad hoc requests
  • Automate recurring dashboards and reports
  • Partner with multiple vendors to implement analytics requirements and streamline project processes
  • Contribute to building an analytics strategy for digital marketing goals and objectives
  • Create institutional knowledge on analytics and educate senior leadership on digital and multi-channel customer trends

Required Experience includes 5 years managing analytics for digital marketing preferable with a high transactional external users of e-commerce. Experience with a site optimization tool (e.g. Adobe Target, Maxymiser, etc.) Preferred.

Preferred Certification includes Google Analytics Platform.

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Math, Statistics, Economics or Business
Experience

 

  • Google Analytics and Tag Manager experience along with strong analytical skills, ability to create business models. Google Analytics certification preferred
  • Team player with experience working with technology, marketing, and creative staff in a fast-paced, agile environment
  • Solid communication, critical thinking, problem solving, and project management skills
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • Experience with a site optimization tool (e.g. Adobe Target, Maxymiser, etc)
